Fire communication groups are made for those actively fighting the fire, to relay where the fire is worse and how to get to certain spots. Focus on keeping all messages short, clear and direct. These messages are going to people fighting fires or driving in dangerous conditions - or both. Any additional focus wasted on unnecessary messages could result in loss of life, limb, or property - think before you send! Messages after hours must be emergency ONLY. Any group that often has non-emergency messages will be muted by most people. The best group is one that people will hear. Prayer and thanks are appreciated, but the group is not the place for it - please keep it open for emergency communication. |
